JUST FOR FUN - Hee-Haw by Phil

In reflecting back on Easter and Holy Week, something jumped out at me. Check out this scripture…

"Go into that village over there," he told them. "As soon as you enter it, you will see a young donkey tied there that no one has ever ridden. Untie it and bring it here." - Mark 11:2 NLT

Now I'm no horseman, but even I know that to ride a horse or donkey, it has to be trained. Its wild nature has to be brought under submission, broken. But apparently, at the touch of Jesus, this wild young donkey was immediately tamed. There's another miracle we often overlook.

A lot of people question why Jesus would ride a donkey instead of a horse.  Maybe considering the other name given to donkeys, it was entirely appropriated.

Just look at us.  Jesus has been taming wild a__es ever since.

(As a side note, I found this on the internet - "Donkeys have a two-toned call that sounds pretty funny. In English, this sound is called braying and is written as hee-haw. The British version is a bit different from the American though; it's written as eeyore." Apparently over there, even the donkeys have a cool English accent!)
